Abstract

Media is very important in the learning process so that learning is successful. This research aims to explore and analyze the use of simple learning media in the context of Natural Science (IPA) content for class IV students at Kayuagung 10 Elementary School, Sukadana Village. The research method used is qualitative descriptive research with a case study approach. Research participants involved teachers and fourth grade students, and used data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The research results show that the use of simple learning media has a positive impact on students’ understanding of science material. This research also identifies factors that influence the effectiveness of learning media, such as the availability of facilities and infrastructure, teachers’ understanding of media use, and students’ responses to the learning methods used. In addition, this research provides recommendations for further development in the implementation of simple learning media, emphasizing the need for training for teachers in integrating this media into everyday learning. It is hoped that the findings of this research can make a positive contribution to the development of learning strategies at the elementary school level, especially in increasing the effectiveness of using simple learning media for science content
