Abstract

Kajian literatur ini membahas fenomena toxic leadership dalam organisasi, khususnya organisasi kemahasiswaan seperti IMADIKSI KIP Kuliah UIN Raden Fatah Palembang. Penelitian bertujuan merangkum definisi, faktor penyebab, dampak, serta alat ukur toxic leadership melalui penelusuran jurnal nasional dan internasional dengan kata kunci “toxic leadership”. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa toxic leadership ditandai oleh perilaku otoriter, narsistik, abusive supervision, self-promotion, dan perilaku tidak dapat diprediksi. Faktor penyebabnya meliputi karakteristik pemimpin, budaya organisasi yang tidak sehat, ketidakjelasan peran, tuntutan kerja berlebih, stres, kurangnya umpan balik, dan isolasi pemimpin. Dampaknya mencakup penurunan kesejahteraan psikologis, burnout, rendahnya kepuasan kerja, menurunnya kinerja, meningkatnya konflik, serta turnover intention. Selain itu, ditemukan alat ukur tervalidasi untuk menilai lima dimensi toxic leadership. Secara keseluruhan, toxic leadership merupakan fenomena sistemik yang dapat merusak individu dan organisasi sehingga diperlukan intervensi organisasi, pengembangan kepemimpinan, dan penerapan etika, terutama dalam lingkungan organisasi mahasiswa.
