This study aims to understand the meaning of five-time daily prayers (shalat) in relation to adolescents' psychological well-being. Psychological well-being is a crucial aspect of adolescent development, especially amidst the pressures of modern life. This research used a qualitative method with a descriptive phenomenological approach. The participant was a 19-year-old male adolescent who has consistently performed the five daily prayers since childhood. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and analyzed thematically. The results revealed that shalat holds a deep personal meaning as a primary need, a source of inner peace, and a means of spiritual reinforcement. It helps the participant manage negative emotions such as stress, anger, and anxiety, while also strengthening his connection with God. Shalat also provides life direction, discipline, and emotional stability. In conclusion, five-time daily prayer is not only a religious obligation but also an effective coping mechanism that enhances adolescents' holistic psychological well-being.
