Survei Tingkat Impluse Buying Pada Siswa MAN 1 Kota Prabumulih

Impulse buying is a phenomenon that occurs in everyday life, the behavior shown is the unconsciousness of someone who purchases a product in a market place. In a study conducted by Resulika Septila and Eka Dian Aprillia, it was stated that there are several other factors that cause impulse buying, namely that based on gender, men tend to carry out impulse buying in sports activities or automotive equipment compared to women who tend to impulse buy. into trending fashion activities to look beautiful inside and out. Lifestyle is a person's lifestyle which can be seen from a person's behavior in using goods and services. A person who has an interest in purchasing an item and is supported by the availability of free time and money is thought to trigger that person's ability to make decisions in impulse buying. Survey research requires data collection through online questionnaires using Google Forms. In carrying out sample data collection, preparation is required in the form of an adapted statement scale from a scientific research carried out by Rika Malia in her thesis in 2021 which discusses the impulsive attitudes of psychology students at the Sultan Agung Islamic University, Semarang. The scale adapted from the thesis has 40 items consisting of 15 favorable items and 15 unfavorable items. The aspects measured in this scale are cognitive and affective aspects. The statistical testing tool used to analyze validity and reliability data as well as categorization was carried out using the Jamovi 25 application. Based on the explanation of the research results, it can be concluded that the validity of the data obtained from the previous 31 items was reduced to 13 items. Based on the reliability test, the 13 items obtained afterwards have a high reliability category, namely with a value of 0.8. Then the categories obtained from this research show that the sample studied was quite high in carrying out impulsive buying activities.
