Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of an experiential learning–based educational intervention in enhancing students’ psychological well-being and Qur’anic character development through the Al-Hamidiyah Islamic Creative Fest program. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach within a community service framework, involving elementary and secondary school students. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and program evaluation across several activities, including HeartTalk Box, HeartTalk Corner, Read & Reflect Spot, IMANAH, Sharing Session, INSPIRE, and Ramadan Boarding School. The findings indicate that the program successfully increased students’ emotional, social, and spiritual engagement while providing a more humanistic space for expression, reflection, and interaction. However, the impact remains largely at the level of engagement and has not fully reached internalization, particularly in sustaining long-term behavioral change. This limitation is associated with the short duration of the intervention, the absence of structured follow-up, and the lack of integration into the formal school system. This study highlights the need for a more systematic and sustainable integrative education model that balances cognitive, emotional, and spiritual dimensions. Its main contribution lies in proposing a conceptual framework that bridges educational psychology and Qur’anic values within an experiential learning context.
